REMTECH has been successful for over 30 years in performing technical services for both government and private industry. In the first two decades, the company focused mostly on government support type contracts for NASA and the military in the Aerospace arena. During the last decade, the company ownership changed along with a shift in emphasis from Aerospace to Information Technology (IT).

The company currently has two major business areas. One is providing IT support-services for major manufacturers including outsourcing of application development and support along with providing on-site IT staff recruitment, placement and management. The other area is focused on the development and marketing of personal computer applications that provide the user with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed decisions concerning major life and financial events.

Administrative and financial support is provided from its office in Huntsville, Alabama. The company also maintains two offices in the Birmingham, Alabama area. One in Fairfield supports industrial computer activities there and the other in Birmingham, which is devoted to the personal financial software development and sales.

The current employees have years of experience ranging from over 30 years to just a few months out of college. Personnel education levels vary from Ph.D. to two-year Junior College/Trade School in an array of computer and engineering disciplines.

In addition, the company has performed on over 290 projects in the past 30 years and has made a profit in 29 of those years. These have varied from small (less than one month) consulting efforts to multi-year studies with an array of technical talent to address the needs of the specific project.
